Digital Prints

During my residency in Barcelona at Jiwar in the Gracia district, I walked and photographed and combined images from the camera with digital iPad drawing techniques to make these final images. I originally went to Jiwar thinking I would do digital portraits like at The de Young Museum but the visual of BCN was so mesmerizing I was compelled to play with it.
Printed 48×48″ or smaller with archival inks on 100% rag paper.

“The Way”
“El mejor es lo que viene” “The best is yet to come”
My direction”

“Us and Them”
“Can one evict love?”
“El Remedio”
“The ever-present game of Chance”

These are two women who were with me at Jiwar residency in Barcelona. Surrounding them is street art from BCN. The table top is from the floor tile design in Gaudi’s Sacrada Familia.
