My www.betweenstops.blog began in 2011
it’s a combination of drawings and text
drawing with light philosophy
It’s named betweenstops because it began with my drawing people
between the stop they got on and the stop they got off of the subway (BART)
between Oakland and San Francisco. I drew on the 2″ square screen of the ipod touch
It is these drawings that got me The de Young Museum show in January of 2012.
It didn’t seem right to do a blog of just drawings so I made up stories about the people I drew. Over the last decade it has changed to me making drawings that go with my writings
which are observations and interpretations and opinions (watch out) from my real life.
